Not much about that has really shifted. The method’s been adjusted here and there, sure, but never to the point where it becomes complicated for no reason. The idea is still pretty simple – move better, get stronger, and not feel completely drained after every class.
Fitness trends come and go all the time. This isn’t really about that. It’s not trying to impress you or push you to extremes – it just does its job, especially if you give it a bit of consistency.

It can be, yeah. A lot of people come in because their back just feels off – too much sitting, not enough movement, that kind of thing. Pilates focuses on the smaller, deeper muscles that support your spine, so over time things start to feel more stable. It’s not a quick fix, but it does help if you stick with it.
What should I wear to a Pilates class?
Nothing special, really. Just something you’re comfortable moving in. Most people show up in leggings and a T-shirt or a top. That’s more than enough. Grip socks are nice to have, especially on the reformer, but you don’t need to overthink it.
